This is an easy way to get your basil indoors without having to worry about soil problems.1.
Get your water in a glass jar.
This container will hold the basil for a few days or months and then be drained.2.
Cut the basil in half and squeeze out the seeds.
This will make the basil easy to find in a cupboard.3.
Put the basil seeds into the jar, leaving an inch or two between each.4.
Pour the water into the container and let the water soak for a couple of hours.5.
Add the basil leaves to the water.6.
Let the basil soak for about three to four hours, or until the water has fully absorbed the basil.7.
Taste the basil, remove the basil seed, and repeat.8.
If the basil is not as well absorbed as the original, you can add some more basil.
